At CAP, summertime is outage time, which means our expert craftsmen are hard at work, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on CAP’s pumps and other assets.

But the water doesn’t stop flowing! CAP’s system was designed so in most plants, half the pumps can continue operating while the other half can be shut down for maintenance.

A variety of work is performed during an outage, including inspections, pipe repairs, replacement of parts, blasting and recoating of discharge lines and more!

Special thanks to all our crews who spend long hours ensuring the reliability of CAP’s water supply for our state!
