Central Arizona Project is governed by a 15-member popularly elected Board of Directors. CAP Board meetings are open to the public.
Sign up for Board Meeting Notifications so you always know when and where the meetings are held and can plan to either attend in person, watch the live stream or view the video after the meeting.
Attend in Person: CAP’s Board of Directors generally meets the first Thursday of the month except in July; CAP’s Board Committees meet on the third Thursday of the month, with some exceptions. Board Task Force meetings are scheduled ad hoc but they are publicly noticed and often occur on committee meeting days. The majority of the meetings are held at CAP Headquarters in the Board Room, 23636 N. 7th Street, Phoenix. CAP delivers water to Maricopa, Pima and Pinal counties, and each year, one Board meeting is held in Pima County and one in Pinal County. In 2017, the April meeting was held in Pinal County and the October 5, 2017 meeting will be held in Pima County at the Omni Tucson National Resort. Meetings are open to the public.
Watch Live Stream: Meetings held at the CAP headquarters can be viewed live at CentralArizonaProject.com. The "view event" link appears while a meeting is in progress. Some meetings such as task force meetings and special meetings are not live streamed, but the public may attend in person. Due to the success of online live streaming, meetings may no longer be viewed at CAP’s Tucson Field Office.
View Video: If you are unable to attend the CAP Board or committee meeting in person or watch the live stream, videos from the meetings that were live streamed are uploaded to CAP’s website the week following the meeting for viewing on your schedule.
