Each and every day, CAP operates with two overarching objectives in mind:
- Keep the water flowing
- Keep our employees safe so we can keep the water flowing
These same objectives have driven our decision-making while dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually monitoring the situation, keeping in mind the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Employees at CAP Facilities:
Fully vaccinated employees, which is defined as two weeks after the last COVID vaccine, may work as they did prior to the pandemic. Employees may choose to wear a face covering and socially distance, but there is no requirement to do so.
When indoors, unvaccinated employees must wear face coverings at all times and must maintain a six-foot distance from others when eating or drinking (at which time face coverings may be removed).
Visitors to CAP Facilities:
All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, must wear face coverings in all CAP facilities.
CAWCD Board Meetings:
The CAWCD Board of Directors have the option of attending meetings in-person or virtually. The public can view the meetings via livestream on the CAP website.
