CAP provides water security that ensures sustainable growth for current and future Arizonans.  CAP strives to prevent pollution, reduce waste and minimize consumption of resources and to educate, train and motivate employees to work in an environmentally responsible way.  CAP works hard to reduce, reuse and recycle.

After 30 years of water deliveries to Central Arizona, CAP’s commitment to the environment remains unwavering.

  • CAP’s Internal Strategic Plan solidifies our commitment to "promote environmental sustainability" and describes several action plans to do so.
  • CAP’s Board of Directors Strategic Plan describes the CAP values, which include the environment, stating “we will operate in an environmentally responsible manner.”
  • CAP’s employee-led ECO Team operates under a mission to create a lifestyle of sustainability through innovation for the benefit of the environment, our community, and our stakeholders.
