Alexandra Arboleda was elected to a six year term on the CAWCD Board representing Maricopa County on November 8, 2016, and re-elected to a second term on November 8, 2022. Ms. Arboleda is a water and natural resources attorney with extensive experience working on developing creative solutions for challenges related to groundwater, surface water, and Colorado River supplies.

Alexandra represents water users and water providers in Arizona. The depth and breadth of her knowledge give her a unique understanding of water and natural resource issues. Alexandra has also practiced in the areas of Indian law, environmental law and constitutional law.

She received her B.A. from Stanford University and her J.D. from University of Arizona. Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, cycling, swimming, skiing, doing yoga, reading and traveling.
