Barbara Seago was elected to a six-year term on the CAWCD Board on November 8, 2022. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla. She has worked as a Software Engineer/Developer for McDonnell Douglas/The Boeing Company for over 40 years.

Barbara has been married for 34 years and has 4 sons and 7 grandchildren. She moved to Gilbert, AZ in 2005 and currently works at Boeing’s Apache plant in Mesa, AZ. She has been a Precinct Committeeman in the 14th legislative district (started in the 12th LD) since 2021 and a state committeeman since 2023. She has been active in her church in various roles. She enjoys politics, reading, baking, hiking and taking walks with her dogs.
