Vineetha Kartha is CAP’s Director of Water Policy. She joined CAP in 2022. Vineetha is responsible for Colorado River Policy and Analysis, Water Programs and Acquisition and the Central Arizona Ground Water Replenishment District (CAGRD). Her career in natural resources and water management spans two decades, having worked in different capacities at Freeport McMoran, the Arizona Department of Water Resources, the City of Surprise and CMX Engineering.

She holds a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning degree from Arizona State University, a Master of Geology degree from the University of Bombay, and a post graduate Diploma in International Negotiations and Capacity Skills from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.
