Scam Alert: Fraudulent Employment Offers
Central Arizona Project (CAP) has been made aware of fraudulent job postings and employment scams that falsely claim to represent our organization.
Please be advised that CAP will never ask applicants to send money, purchase equipment, pay application fees, or provide financial information as part of the hiring process. We also do not conduct interviews or extend employment offers through messaging platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, or similar applications.
All legitimate employment opportunities with the Central Arizona Project are posted through our official Careers at CAP webpage, and all communication regarding your application will come through authorized CAP representatives using official company email addresses.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from CAP, especially one requesting payment, personal financial information, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or communication through unofficial messaging apps, it is likely a scam. Do not respond, click on any links, or provide any personal information.
If you have questions about the legitimacy of a job posting or communication claiming to be from CAP, please contact our Human Resources department through the contact information provided on our official website before taking any action.
We appreciate your interest in employment with CAP and encourage all applicants to remain vigilant against employment scams.
