Amanda Monize was elected to a six-year term on the CAWCD Board of Directors, representing
Maricopa County, on November 8, 2022. She is a native Arizonan, growing up between Cave Creek and Scottsdale. Amanda has a B.A. from Arizona State University in Secondary Education, Earth and Space Science, and a M.A. from Northern Arizona University in Science Teaching. She is passionate about protecting Arizona’s future, including the responsible management of our most precious natural resource, water.

Amanda enjoys hiking, sewing, painting, kickboxing, learning, teaching, and spending time with her loving husband, Andy.
